When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Insomnia Series
I - The Ear I was to emulate an artist in this series so I chose James Casebere. I treated the light in these images as information and the environments as dream-like physical places inside the human body. When I experience insomnia I am comfortable and lost between dream and reality...but I still cannot attain sleep. That's what these images are representative of: my inability to sleep due to the flow of information seeping into my body during my transition phase...between waking and dreaming. Middle insomnia - waking during the middle of the night, difficulty maintaining sleep. This first image is a nod to Casebere's Tunnel With Bright Hole. The models created were much less than 1 inch in any direction except back (some were tunnels); the beds were considerably smaller. I wake up at least every 30-60 minutes. I find it exciting because it allows for so many dreams, though it can become tiring when I'm in a relationship with someone and we're trying to share a bed.

It's a comfy stage - It makes my dreams FEEL like reality, they're not dreams or thoughts, they're real and it's sometimes comforting.
