Insomnia Series
VI - The Eyes Closing

This piece/peace VI is the moment right before sleep arrives. This is the final part and my personal favorite in the series.

I treated the light in these images as information and the environments as dream-like physical places inside the human body.

When I experience insomnia I am comfortable and lost between dream and reality...but I still cannot attain sleep. That's what these images are representative of: my inability to sleep due to the flow of information seeping into my body during my transition phase...between waking and dreaming.

Middle insomnia - waking during the middle of the night, difficulty maintaining sleep.




The models created were much less than 1 inch in any direction except back (some were tunnels); the beds were considerably smaller.

insomina is like a copyof a copy of a copy..... this oen makes me feel mad sleepy just looking at it.... yawnnnnnnnnnnn... finally... bedy bye......................
